American-born Singer Sewing Machine heiress Winnaretta Singer hosted the most famous salon in Paris in the early 20th century, curating and commissioning ground-breaking works from the greatest artists of her era. A trailblazer and philanthropist, she lived life as a gay woman on her own terms and ahead of her time. This is her amazing story, told through letters and biographical narration alongside the songs she inspired and commissioned — music by Debussy, Satie, Stravinsky, Fauré, Ravel, and more.
