An evening of choral music designed to evoke the wonder, mystery, and joy of Christmas. The program features a set of O magnum mysterium interpretations, Marian music including a set of Ave Maria compositions, and the Delaware premiere of Cecilia McDowall’s A Winter’s Night, with brass, percussion, and organ.
Market Street Music, enriching downtown Wilmington since the 1970s, offers a diverse and affordable array of concerts, featuring Thursday Noontime samplers, weekend Festival Concerts, and performances by its vocal ensembles, Mastersingers of Wilmington and Center City Chorale.
