Pyxis Piano Trio celebrates America's 250th anniversary by featuring music exclusively by American composers. The first half highlights works by contemporary women composers. We are delighted to collaborate with baritone Jordan Barrett for the Delaware premiere of the song cycle Fathers by Lori Laitman. The second half of the program will be dedicated to a romantic Piano Trio by Arthur Foote, a Harvard graduate who spent his entire career studying and composing in the United States.
Market Street Music, enriching downtown Wilmington since the 1970s, offers a diverse and affordable array of concerts, featuring Thursday Noontime samplers, weekend Festival Concerts, and performances by its vocal ensembles, Mastersingers of Wilmington and Center City Chorale.
