Mastersingers of Wilmington presents a program that celebrates American artistry, nature, and ambition. Featuring Randall Thompson's Frostiana, Jake Runestad's American Tryptich, and including pieces by Rosephanye Powell and Ricky Ian Gordon; with poetry of Robert Frost, Henry David Thoreau, Langston Hughes, Wendell Berry, and John Muir.
Market Street Music, enriching downtown Wilmington since the 1970s, offers a diverse and affordable array of concerts, featuring Thursday Noontime samplers, weekend Festival Concerts, and performances by its vocal ensembles, Mastersingers of Wilmington and Center City Chorale.
This organization is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.
